GROWING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE WITH CONATINER FARMING

WHAT IS

Container Farming?

Container farming, also known as controlled environment agriculture (CEA), revolutionizes traditional farming by growing crops inside enclosed spaces. Utilizing advanced technologies like hydroponics or aeroponics, it offers a controlled environment for year-round cultivation of various fruits, vegetables and herbs. With precise control over temperature, lighting and nutrients, container farming maximizes yields while minimizing water usage and pesticide needs.

Cultivate a variety of lettuce types, such as the satisfyingly crisp romaine, velvety butterhead, or delicate lollo rossa, to enjoy fresh and flavorful salads. These lettuce varieties are highly sought after by consumers, grocers, and chefs, serving as the perfect foundation for delicious dishes. To assist with decision-making, we have categorized the lettuce based on the duration it spends in the container. At the 3-week mark, you can harvest a large quantity of small heads. On the other hand, waiting for 5 weeks will yield fewer but heavier heads. The choice of when to harvest depends on your specific business model, as lettuce is typically sold either by unit or weight.
